Adding DNS records to a Shopify domain

Overview  

How to add the DNS records to your Shopify domain to enable the email functionality within Khaos Control Cloud.

Steps 

  1. Log into their Shopify admin panel.
  2. Go to Online Store > Domains.
  3. In the Shopify-managed domains section, click the name of the domain that you want to edit.
  4. Click DNS Settings.
  5. To add a new record, click add custom record and create the records needed to connect the email system, the records needed to connect Khaos Control Cloud will be presented within a dialog box upon trying to verify the domain, an example is below:

Host / Name: mailo._domainkey (Please check the [Document Email Settings | Email Settings] Verify Domain Settings in Khaos Control Cloud - See example below Fig 1)
Type: TXT
Record: {unique_record_key}

Notes/Caveats 

Notes: The record or {unique_record_key} will be provided by Khaos Control Cloud in a dialog box when attempting to verify the domain, this is unique to each customer and should not be shared.
