Automatically Add Items to a Sales Order when a Special Offer is Triggered
Overview
This video shows how you can setup a Special Offer to automatically add items to sales orders. You can configure this to add different quantities so the customer can decide whether they wish to purchase the items or not. A step by step guide is below the video.
Steps
Go to [Promotions | Special Offers].
Click Edit.
On the row of data you wish to auto add to sales orders click the checkbox in the Auto Add column.
In the QTY column enter the default amount of the product you wish be added to sales orders.
A quantity of zero will result in them being added to a sales order for customer approval. The item will be removed from the sales order upon saving if the quantity is still zero.
