Steps
Create a stock controlled build parent item.
Go to the Relationships tab.
Enter Edit mode.
Use the Relationship Type drop down to select Build.
Save the screen.
Use the Add button to select each component for the build.
Confirm the quantity required as each component is added.
If you wish to define the Value Proportion , this must add up to 100. If you don't define a Value Proportion, the system will calculate this for you when the parent item is sold. Value Proportion is the way the cost of sales split is calculated. You can also have the system automatically set the Value Proportion, see How To Auto Set Value Proportions in Packs and Builds.
