Create an Ad Hoc Credit

Overview  

If you need to create an ad-hoc credit for a customer, this video explains how you can do this:

Steps 

  1. Create a New Sales Order.
  2. Select the customer from the lookup.
  3. Change the Sales Order Type to Credit Note.
  4. Use the New button to add a new item.
  5. Add the Miscellaneous Stock Item for Credit (SYS_MISC).
  6. Add a value for the credit in the Gross Unit column.
  7. Overtype the Stock Description with details of the credit (optional). 
  8. The Credit Note can be processed in the Sales Invoice Manager as normal.
