Overview
It is only possible to delete a stock item if it has not been used, i.e. no purchases, sales or adjustments.
Usage
To do this:
- Go to [Stock Item].
- Green select the item in the stock list.
- Click Actions and select Delete Stock Items.
- An error message will pop up if the stock item has been used elsewhere in the system.
Notes
If you have used the item or you receive an error message at step 3 above then the item must be marked as discontinued, this will prevent the item appearing in menus and grids throughout the system. To do this:
- Go to the options tab within stock item record.
- Click Edit.
- Enable the Discontinued toggle.
- Click Save Stock Item.
