Adding a Journal Note in the Trial Balance

Overview  

This video will show you how to add a note to a journal from within the trial balance. Step by step instructions can be found below the video.



Steps 

  1. From the Accounts screen, click on Trial Balance.
  2. Select the desired Nominal Account.
  3. Use the Actions button to Show Account Details.
  4. Green Select the transaction line in the right hand grid that you want to annotate.
  5. Use the Actions button to select  Edit Journal Note.
  6. Enter the note in the popup and set the one line option as required.
  7. Click Continue and the note will be added.
