Control Stock Levels On Your Channel

Overview  

This video will show you how you can control how stock levels are uploaded to your online channels. There are three step by step methods below the video on these procedures.

For Amazon the way the system matches when uploading stock items is as follows:
  • If you have only one code against a stock item and it is the stock barcode, you can just define the stock code as the matching criteria.
  • If you have multiple codes against one stock item, you need to define a barcode, for example Amazon SKU, for each one. Therefore, in the stock item you will need to add the different codes for the item by adding the Amazon SKU barcode multiple times.
  • Amazon DOES NOT use ASIN's to match stock items.


Steps 

All of the methods below require the 3 steps listed here to be carried out first.
  1. Go to the [Channels] and double click the channel you wish to alter.
  2. Go to the [Main | Stock] tab and click Edit.
  3. Use the below methods to control stock levels.

Method 1

  1. Set the Stock to upload option as required.
    1. If Upload Specified Items Only is selected then only items in the bottom grid will upload to your channel.
    2. Use the +New button on the bottom grid to add items to the channel
  2. Click Save Channel.

Method 2

  1. In the Profiles grid click +New.
    1. Profiles can be used to upload specific stock levels for specific items.
    2. You will need to setup one default profile.
  2. Set the % Qty to Upload as required
    1. This represents a % of your 'available' stock levels.
  3. Set the Maximum and Minimum Qty to Upload as required. 
    1. This will be used as value limits for your stock levels. Where % Qty to Upload feature exceeds these limits then limit value here will be used.
  4. Click Save Channel.

Method 3 

If using the Upload Specified Items Only setting.
  1. In the Stock grid click +New.
  2. In the dialog box select the stock items you wish to appear on the channel.
  3. Select a profile for each item.
  4. Enter a Maximum and Minimum Qty to Upload value to override the profile setting specifically for this item.
  5. Click Save Channel.
