Import Your Stock Levels

Overview

This video will show you how to import your stock levels into Khaos Control Cloud when your stock items are already in the system. There are step by step instructions below the video.



Create the import template as follows:

  1. Go to [System Setup | Data Import].
  2. Click Create Template.
  3. Click Stock Level Template.
  4. There are only two mandatory fields and no optional fields.
  5. Click Next then click Generate Template.
  6. A text file will be created with the column headings.
  7. Copy the column headings into a spreadsheet and then fill in the rows below with your data. Note that the STOCK_CODE column is case sensitive.
  8. Once complete, save the file as a text file tab delimited.
  9. Go to [System Setup | Data Import].
  10. Click on Import your data link.
  11. Drag and drop your file onto the area that says Drop files to import.
  12. Select the type of file that you're importing from the drop down.
  13. The system will let you know how many lines are going to be imported.
  14. Click on the Check File button.
  15. The system will check that the contents of the file are okay to import.
  16. Click on the preview button, this will simulate importing the data.
  17. Click on the Import File button to import the stock levels.
