Client Query - Item Missing from Sales Delivery Note

Problem/Question

When producing a delivery note, one or more items are not listed.

Solution

There are a number of reasons why this might occur and we have detailed the most likely ones below.

Item not allocated

This occurs when the stock item is not allocated to the order, most commonly due to no stock being available. To fix this, allocate stock to the order and reproduce the paperwork.

Item is marked as Non-Physical

This setting found within the stock item record will prevent the item from appearing on a delivery note. This option would typically be used for digital products or services that can't be shipped.

Item is a child item within a Move With relationship

If the issue only occurs when the item is part of a move with relationship it may be that your document settings are not correct. Go to [System Setup | Document & Email Settings] and ensure the Show Child Items toggle is enabled.
