Reflect the purchase of consumables
Overview
Sometimes you may need to reflect the purchase of consumable items in KCC, these are items you need to run the business and will not be selling.
Usage
There are two possible methods to do this, depending on your needs.
Method one
If you need to stock control the items then these should be created as stock items and set the COS Excluded toggle to on. A guide on creating a new stock item can be found here:
How to Create a New Stock Item. Using the COS Excluded option means that the items will not affect the Stock nominal when purchasing them.
