Turning On Data Hold for a Company Record

Overview  

Data Holding a company record keeps the data intact but the record remains in the system. It also can be used to prevent a company from having sales or purchase orders created for them. This video explains the process.  A step by step guide can be found below the video. 


Steps 

  1. Open the Company Record .
  2. Use the Actions menu to select Data Hold Company (toggle) .
  3. Confirm in the pop up.
  4. Click continue .
