Using Unbuild to Split Multipacks

Overview  

This video shows you how to use unbuild to split up multipacks into single stock items that can then be sold. A step by step guide can be found below the video.


Steps 

  1. Create separate stock controlled SKUs;
    1. One for the Multipack
    2. One for the individual component.
  2. Create a build relationship between the Multipack and the required number of components that make up that build by adding the components using the + New button.
  3. Set the Value Proportion according to the number of different components.
  4. Create purchase orders to buy the Multipack SKU.
  5. Delivery the Multipack SKU stock items.
  6. To split down the Multipack SKUs into single components:
    1. Open the Relationships screen.
    2. Click on the Unbuild button.
    3. State the number of items to unbuild.
    4. Click Continue.
