Set Up Keycode Types

Overview

Keycode types are used to group keycodes for reporting purposes. You could use them, for example, to compare the number of customers who have bought items using newspaper keycodes and leaflet keycodes. They are set against a keycode in the keycode setup screen. 

Usage

  1. In System Setup, open System Data.
  2. Double click on the Keycode Types line to open the table.
  3. Enter Edit Mode.
  4. Use the New button to add a new Keycode Type.
  5. Add a description.
  6. Save the Screen.
